Everyone should be able to help a child.
We want sawyerswish.org to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or voice control.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We test pages on phones and desktops, with keyboard-only navigation, and with automated accessibility checks.
What we've built in
- Text and buttons with strong color contrast, and tap targets at least 44 pixels tall
- Every page works with a keyboard, with visible focus outlines
- Form fields with labels and error messages that screen readers announce
- Descriptions for illustrations, and no information shown by color alone
- Pages that respect "reduce motion" settings
Payments
Card details are entered in Stripe's secure payment field, which Stripe builds to be accessible. If you have trouble giving online, contact us and we'll help you give another way, including by check: Sawyer's Wish, 593 Gates St, Doylestown, OH 44230.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on the site doesn't work for you, please let us know with the page and what happened. We'll reply within two business days and fix what we can.
