One brave kid. One bright set of sheets. Still on the job.
When Sawyer was in the hospital for cancer treatment, his room was full of machines, white linens and strangers. His own bright sheets gave him something familiar to hold on to.
His family saw what that small thing did. It made the room his, and the hard days a little softer. So they started Sawyer's Wish to give other kids the same bright spot.
Sawyer is still right in the middle of it. He helps pack the boxes, ships them out and visits the hospitals that receive them. The kid who needed the comfort is now the one handing it out.
Sawyer's Wish exists so more kids get that same bright spot. We work with child life specialists at hospitals across the country to put new, colorful sheets on beds, each set packed with a note from someone cheering the child on.
